People keep asking me why on earth do I, as a pro, use a WordPress Blog with a free standard theme?
The simple answer is most of my customers want to use WordPress. Worse, most bloggers use WordPress.
If I would not use WordPress then how authentic would I be telling people they can trust me when it comes to blogging and social media advice?
So yes, I admit it’s not my preferred CMS. It has, like all advanced CMS systems, some weak spots when it comes to SEO and custom design.
But it does a great job enabling the average computer user to publish her or his information to the world.
So here you go, if you like it, you get it!
Have a look at my other websites, most are not WordPress – promise.
Some are plain HTML, CSS and a bit of Java Script. Yes, this is what works best for SEO and fast loading time, believe it or not.
Others run on PHP, ASP, are members of the Amazon Cloud like Business Catalyst, or Office 365 (SharePoint).
Again I do not care what they run on, most important for me is:
They are causing problems I can fix.
